01 · OVERVIEW
Introduction
Catapult turns perpetual futures trading into a head-to-head competition. Instead of trading against a house, you join an arena with other traders. Everyone pays the same buy-in, starts with the same balance and trades the same markets. When the clock hits zero, the best-performing traders split the prize pool.
Fixed buy-in, fixed max loss, up to 75x leverage, skill decides the winner.
02 · GET GOING
Quick start
- Connect a wallet. MetaMask, Phantom, Coinbase Wallet or any WalletConnect wallet works.
- Pick an arena. Filter by type (Sprint, Daily, Weekly), buy-in, markets and leverage cap.
- Pay the buy-in. Funds move into the arena escrow contract and you receive your starting balance.
- Trade. Open longs and shorts on any market listed in the arena until it closes.
- Collect. Rankings finalise at close and winnings settle to your wallet automatically.
03 · COMPETITIONS
Arenas
Every arena is defined by a handful of parameters that are locked before the first trader joins.

Entrant caps
Arenas have a maximum number of entrants. Once full, no one else can join. If an arena doesn't reach its minimum entrants by the start time, every buy-in is refunded in full.
Multi-arena mode
You can be in several arenas at once. Each arena has an isolated balance, so liquidation in one never affects another.

Leverage & liquidation
Leverage multiplies both gains and losses on your arena balance. Caps depend on the market and on the arena's own settings.

Liquidation
If your arena equity falls below the maintenance margin, all positions close and your run in that arena ends. Your loss can never exceed your buy-in. You keep any participation XP already earned.
05 · WINNING
Scoring & payouts
- Traders are ranked by final account equity at close, including unrealised PnL.
- Ties go to whoever reached that equity first.
- The prize pool is the total of all buy-ins minus a
10%platform fee. - The payout table (for example, top 10% paid) is shown on every arena before you join.
- Settlement is automatic and usually completes within minutes of close.
06 · SEASON 1
XP & seasons
Season 1 runs from Sep 1 to Nov 30, 2026 with a 35,000,000 $CATA reward pool. Your share is proportional to your XP.
Every $1 of buy-in earns 1 XP. Streaks, placements and tiers stack on top.

Security
- Catapult is non-custodial. We never hold your private keys.
- We will never ask for your seed phrase, by DM, email or anywhere else.
- Buy-ins are held in on-chain escrow contracts until the arena settles.
- Always check that you're on the official domain before signing a transaction.

Community
Official community channels open with the public app launch. Until then, anything claiming to be Catapult support is not us.
